Khammam: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar informed that the company had planted over 2 lakh saplings on a single day, i.e., on Wednesday, in all its areas across the State. As part of State’s flagship programme, Telangana Ku Haritha Haram, the company has planned to plant 1 crore saplings in all its areas, he said, adding that the officers, staff and public representatives actively took part in the plantation drive. He also informed that the company Director (Finance) N Balaram has planted over 2,167 saplings on Wednesday.
