first_imgThe Barras were all bowled yesterday out for 295 runs in the first innings.Veteran Mahuru Dai was the stand out batter scoring a 129 runs of which consisted of 9 fours and 5 sixes.Afghanistan put themselves right back in the game in the second innings thanks to Mohammad Shahzad’s 116 runs.Afghanistan finished at sumps on day two at 3/284 with Hashmatullah Shahidi (92*) and Asghar Stanikzai (45*) not out.Day three will see play resume today at 9:45am (3:45pm PNG time).last_img


Hunters concerned with supporters security

first_imgIn response to concerns of the Hunters home games finishing at mid-evenings, the team management has scheduled the round 6 and 7 home games of the SP Hunters for 3pm.With that, the SP Hunters have mandated with the QLD and the Intrust Cup family to change the game day schedules to better complement its supporters which both the Townsville Blackhawks and the Redcliff Dolphins have agreed to, with the new game times for Round 6 and 9 home games.Therefore the new schedule is set as, for the round 6 game on Sunday April 16 against the Blackhawks  will be at 3pm at the NFS stadium and for the Round 9 game also on Sunday May 1 will also be played at the NFS stadium against the Redcliff Dolphins also set for 3pm.However, for the Round 7 home game against the Norths Devils, the game will remain at 6:30pm kickoff as the management is making sure that PMV transport will be available for patrons to return home safely.Hunter’s management is continuing the dialogue with all other home game teams to reach amicable agreement on match times.last_img read more
